Vaginal Health Survey

View Comments (1)Print ArticleEmail Article

Vaginal symptoms such as unusual discharge, itching or burning can indicate a number of conditions: bacterial vaginonsis, candidiasis, trichomoniasis or even nothing. Other conditions such as HPV or other sexually transmitted infections may cause no symptoms. Please take our short survey about the tools you -- and your patients -- use to diagnose and treat vaginal symptoms.

In my practice most women call and just want a Diflucan called in. When I started her I began to request that all women with c/o "yeast infection" make an appointment. Since I have began that practice I have diagnosed numerous cases of Herpes I and II as well as atropic vaginitis and more BV than "yeast".
