I was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago, and went through all the emotions and misery your video participants have described. It was surreal to be a nurse and a patient. I thought the video was helpful to hear different perspectives on the illness. The element of hope in the face of adversity seemed pervasive in each video, and hope is what patients need to hear. Life is a crap shoot, we have to face the hand we are dealt, but it's always nice to have a little hope!
